So far, after 24 hours, I have not experienced any lock ups. Next, I tried installing the previous version 5. So I decided to remove the software for a while from my iMac. a fixed version prior to the 6.0.13 official launch) of Cyber Security.

So, I looked at what had changed on both those PCs and the common change was to install version 6.0.12 (i.e. These lock ups can happen any time of day or night and I can pretty much guarantee I'll experience it within 2-3 minutes of clicking links. I really don't see this as a broadband connectivity issue. When the Safari surfing freezes, none of my other online software shows a disconnection (e.g cloud syncs continue OK, etc), router lights are all on etc. My broadband is fibre and a speed test shows 38Mb down and 11Mb up and it's rock solid - speed of data is not normally an issue.

This was happening on Safari so I downloaded and installed Chrome for Mac - same outcome, intermittent hanging. I've experienced this across a number of sites, BBC, Amazon, some forums etc.

A refresh or re-click does not cause it to load, you just have to wait. Then, suddenly, another page click will freeze. After that 'blip' ends, the next few page loads are near-instant. The blue bar in the address bar pauses and the page load ceases/pauses. In short, during normal internet browsing on my iMac, occasionally it 'hangs' and takes up to 15 seconds to load the page. Then my son told me this had recently started happening on his Macbook Pro. It took me a few days before I realised it was happening but the frequency was so great that I know something is not right. However, I have noticed another issue which I want to ask others if they have seen it. My system is certainly not crashing any more so that’s a step forward. It's good to see version 6.0.13 has addressed the crashes that a number of us have been experiencing.
